Since 2023, Marlon Young has been a valued member of LACA, using his writing talents to promote tolerance and understanding through our newsletter. He also volunteers in our grocery distribution program and is currently narrating a short story about the launch of our food pantry. Sara's journey with us at LACA began with volunteering at our food distribution event and our Day of Hope, where she brought donations for women in need. What We Do
LA Community Alliance empowers socially and economically oppressed members of greater Los Angeles by providing healthy food and life skills classes aimed at helping struggling and vulnerable households get back on their feet. We provide critical food aid and clothing for hundreds of families, while simultaneously supporting our clients with the necessary tools that they need to overcome food insecurity and houselessness.
LACA also builds strategic alliances with other non-profit organizations and businesses that serve vulnerable communities in order to amplify our impact and reach a larger population of high-need households.
At LACA, we believe in providing assistance with dignity to families struggling with the
challenging financial climate in Los Angeles. We develop personal relationships with the
people we serve and strive to give them hope when they need it most.
We are 100% fully funded by donations and NOW is the time to help make an impact.
