Since 2023, Marlon Young has been a valued member of LACA, using his writing talents to promote tolerance and understanding through our newsletter. He also volunteers in our grocery distribution program and is currently narrating a short story about the launch of our food pantry. Since 2020, Loren Lott has been a volunteer at LACA, stepping forward during the pandemic's challenging times to offer her time and talents in support of our mission. Sara's journey with us at LACA began with volunteering at our food distribution event and our Day of Hope, where she brought donations for women in need. What We Do
LA Community Alliance combats food insecurity and homelessness in Los Angeles by empowering underserved residents with healthy food, life skills classes, and essential clothing. Our dedicated approach helps low-income families, struggling individuals, and vulnerable households regain stability and achieve self-sufficiency, providing critical resources and support to overcome adversity in the Greater Los Angeles area.
LACA also builds strategic alliances with other non-profit organizations and businesses that serve vulnerable communities in order to amplify our impact and reach a larger population of high-need households.
At LACA, we believe in providing assistance with dignity to families struggling with the
challenging financial climate in Los Angeles. We develop personal relationships with the
people we serve and strive to give them hope when they need it most.
We are 100% fully funded by donations and NOW is the time to help make an impact.
